Our founder, Liz Zellman, spent years working for a range of businesses of various sizes giving her a unique perspective on the same issues that plague every business – whether it’s a team of two or two hundred. Many of her early years were spent on exactly the kinds of activities you have to deal with in your business.
With much of her career having a huge focus on administration, accounts and fixed assets, Liz has built a skillset that helps her assess and implement processes designed to maximise your business, while also offering expert advice throughout the process. She has vast experience using SAP systems in a consultancy role with national and international businesses, while also having considerable experience in accounts roles with small, medium and large organisations.
Liz has a deep understanding of how businesses can make Xero work for them. She brings her empathetic and dynamic training skills to the table, helping you quickly learn the vital skills you need to make Xero work for you right from the start.
With a huge range of accolades and certifications, Liz is an expert in every sense of the word. Graduating with a NZ Diploma of Business Studies from Unitec in 2003, she has also completed the NZIM Diploma in Management and is an accredited Xero Certified Advisor/Partner. Liz has also gained a Bachelor of Business (with an Accounting Major) and enjoys teaching Xero in the education sector.
And while Liz has a joy for all things accounting she also has a background in pre-employment screening, was previously a marriage celebrant and, perhaps, most importantly she is an excellent trainer, working frequently within the education and creative industries and the construction industry where she works with tradies in particular.
