Liz Zellman, at your service
SmartDesk was founded by Liz Zellman after a business career focused around administration, accounts and fixed assets. Many of her early years were spent on exactly the kinds of activities you have to deal with in your business.
Liz has worked in and for a broad range of businesses from one-man-bands to large corporations. She is adept at assessing and implementing the processes you may require to help you run your business efficiently and effectively, no matter the size. She is an empathetic and intuitive trainer and will adapt her delivery style and content to your needs.
Liz graduated from Unitec in 2003 with a NZ Diploma of Business Studies. She has also completed the NZIM Diploma in Management and is an accredited Xero Certified Advisor/Partner. In addition, through the Open Polytechnic, she is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Business (Accounting Major).
She has gained vast experience using SAP systems in a number of consultancy roles with large national and international businesses and has considerable experience in accounts roles with small, medium and large organisations.

In addition to her accounting skills, Liz ran a pre-employment screening company for four years. The processes and background searches required a great amount of detail, thoroughness and integrity. She was able to help companies safeguard their business from fraud and source information from agencies to assist her clients when hiring new staff. She is now able to pass this expertise on to her Xero clients.
When she's not busy helping people in business, Liz helps them in love as she is a registered marriage celebrant as well!
